Potty Mouth

We had a girl in court this past Monday who had the worst case of potty mouth I have ever heard. I know I have a habit of using profane language (I apologize, I grew up in a ghetto area, so I can't be blamed :) ). She was the alleged victim of distubring the peace charge.

Backstory on this case was that the girl's mother was being evicted for non-payment of rent. I guess the landlord was serving her with the eviction when she was at work. So genuis mom decides to leave her and her other sibling home (after taking them out of school) at the house alone to guard it. Landlord's son-in-law shows up and gets into a verbal confrontation with the girl. Police are called and the mom ends up taking out a warrant at the magistrate's office.

So the girl is in court to proceed with the case. The girl sits down, looks at the judge, and asks if she allowed to curse. Judge says "Sure, if you need that to do that to testify."

Girl then opens her mouth and the torrent of curse words begins to flow from it. The man allegedly called the girl a bitch, used fuck a few times, and threatened to beat her trifling ass.

After all of this, the girl then states she CURSED the guy back. Same barage of curse words. She also added that she threatened to "beat his fucking ass" with a "fucking rock" that was nearby.

Once potty mouth was done testifying, the man accused of doing this stated that the girl actually had walked up to him and his father-in-law while they were waiting for the sherriff to serve the eviction. She then proceeded to curse both of them. He was actually in fact the one who originally called the police and the girl was told to leave the property.

After hearing this five minutes of testimony filled with this foul lanaguge, the judge dismissed the charge due to lack of evidence. You could tell he was trying not to laugh at this girl's use of colorful language.

Next case of the day was the trial of a young man accused of assautling two juveniles during a soccer game. Backstory is that it was a championship game of some soccer league. It apparently was an emotionally charged game complete with players and their parents yelling crap at the opposing teams.

Two young men eventually get involved in a physical altercation. During the altercation one of the alleged victims ran to assist his fellow team mate in the fight (The second victim was one the of the players involved in the fight). At some point the criminal defendant became involved and allegedly tackled one of the victims. It became a brawl which cleared both the team benches and the stands.

This case was just annoying because the alleged victims had a ton of witnesses testifying. Their testimony conflicted as to which victim had actually been assaulted. Another interesting fact was that it was was one of the alleged victim who actually started the fight. He admitted to this in court.

Then of course, we had SUPER WITNESS. This was some annoying prick who testified that he was the one who told the criminal defendant, "WE ARE CALLING THE POLICE AND YOU ARE GOING TO JAIL." Then he allegedly ran after the defendant when he tried to leave, stood in front of his van, and then almost got ran over trying to stop him. The judge almost rolled his eyes at that one.

Judge ended dismissing the case because, as I stated, there was WAY too much conflicting evidence as to who actually was assaulted. The judge did tell both sides that their conduct was unacceptable. After all of this, SUPER WITNESS, decides to start arguing with the judge. Judge told him to either leave or get held in contempt of court.

Funny thing was that the deputy said after SUPER WITNESS left, his wife yelled at him to shut up. She said the man just stopped, hung his head, and said "Yes dear."
