Updates

I apologize for the lack of blogs on this page. I have been extremely busy this month for some reason or another. Things just kind of took off and I was left just trying to keep up with it all. I figure I would just give some general updates if anyone out there is interested.

-I found out I was accepted into a criminal justice organization I wanted to join.

-I am going to a training next Friday about being a Court Advocate and how to deal with crime victims.

-I signed up for LSAT prep. Cost me 1000 dollars.

-I trained some legal interns. One of the girls is actually a student at the law school I want to attend (Top 14). She told me about an apartment complex that is close to the law school (within walking distance). I will gladly give up all of my court dockets for a month for that information.

-I met another guy who was an intern. He actually went to Harvard undergrad and went to a decent law school. Actually clerked for the head justice of the Supreme Court in another country. Nice guy too. I think he'll go far and it's a good professional connection to have.

-I got to play chicken with my police officer. It was fun and I hope that I get to do it again soon in the future. I'm also impressed with his taser :).

-I can potentially go to a training where the FBI will be there to talk about the DC Sniper case. PLEASE DEAR GOD, LET ME GO.

-I tracked the serial offender to one particular geographic area. I just need to wait until after my LSAT to go full force. I know where to link, I just have to find the information I need.
